Wheeler’s Yard

The Spot

Who would’ve thought you could merge bicycles with burgers? The Wheeler’s Yard is both a cafe and a bicycle atelier and is nestled right in the heart of Balestier. The interior will have you blown away, with an industrial warehouse setting that incorporates bicycles into its decor, it really is quite a rare gem.

What I Had

I ordered the Sirloin Steak ($21.90), Beef Yard burger ($14.90) and a Vanilla Banana waffle.

The Beef Yard burger, served with a side of fries, had a juicy beef patty, lettuce, cheese, tomatoes and caramelised onions for that extra kick.

The Sirloin Steak also accompanied with fries and black pepper sauce was cooked to medium doneness and was bursting with flavourful juices.

The Vanilla Banana waffle was surprisingly crisp and soft without being too sweet all at the same time. Topped with caramel sauce, sliced bananas and walnuts, this definitely was a delightful way to end the meal.

What I Loved

Apart from the cool bikes and savoury menu, they also have all day breakfast which means you don’t have to drag yourselves outta bed early in the morning just to grab a bite! They also allow you to book their venue for special occasions, talk about multi functional! Not forgetting, they are another spot that does not charge GST nor service charge if you don’t already have enough reasons to pay them a visit.
