Sweet Monster

The Spot

The Sweet Monster is, in fact, a sweets shop specializing in soft serve ice cream. From popcorn in your ice cream to their signature ice cream cakes, it’s no wonder you’d least expect a breakfast line from them. After weeks of grabbing their soft serves, I finally decided to give their all-day breakfast a shot as well.

What I Had

The first thing that caught my eye was the Eggs, Waffle & Sausage ($15.90).  As the name suggests, it includes scrumptious scrambled eggs, sausages, waffles, sauteed potatoes & mushrooms alongside a garden salad. The highlight to me here was clearly the eggs and sauteed potatoes & mushrooms, both paired so perfectly together.

Next, I got the Mon Ami Sandwich with Turkey Ham ($9.90). Alongside a refreshing garden salad, the sandwich came with an egg on top! Of course, as if things weren’t compelling enough, chips were also on the plate!

Having a sweet tooth, I naturally had to try their Lemon Ade Float ($5.80) which to my surprise was blue! I definitely don’t regret turning the entire inside of my mouth blue just for this one. The zesty burst of lemon along with the velvety-smooth soft serve creates an entirely unmatched bang on the palate.

What I Loved

Who doesn’t love having all-day breakfast? That too, along with sweets of such variety! One would definitely be spoilt for choice here especially if you a HUGE sweet tooth like me.
