The White Button

The Spot

Replacing the old location of 49 seats, a new kid on the block has emerged. What with a monochromatic colour theme and an affordable menu, you will be delighted to find the newcomer has some exciting dishes to appeal to each and every palette.

What I Had

Starting with their soup of the day, we got the Creamy Mushroom Soup with Garlic Bread ($5). Not your average, diluted mushroom pre-mixed concoction, this one was both flavourful and rich in texture.

The TWB Chicken Chop ($17) was my favourite. Essentially a grilled chicken chop topped with a creamy tomato sauce and gooey melted cheese. It comes along with your choice of sides, in my case, a serving of mac & cheese along with mashed potatoes. However, I did feel the portion of mac & cheese was rather underwhelming as the cheese was quite dry and lacked any flavour at all. Perhaps coleslaw would’ve been a better option instead.

Creamy Smoked Duck ($15) reminded me of the exact same dish from 49 seats what with having the exact same name and elements. However, I would say this was extremely creamy and had generous portions of flavourful, smoked duck topped with an abundance of mushrooms.
